Hello Henderson & Las Vegas

Cody, Casey (5 year old litter mate brothers - F1B Goldendoodles) and I moved to Henderson 1 year ago. During that year, we have had many new adventures and have learned to adapt to living in a dry sauna vs. a steam room - we moved from Mississippi.  I knew there were a lot of doodles here, but had no idea so many were on this forum.  I am a recent widow, retired, and learning to live an entirely new life style. I have met a few people in my local community, but typically spend my days reading, watching TV and just cuddling with my critters.  I don't take my boys to the local dog parks because I've heard that there have been incidences where dogs have been attacked by other dogs. I am not physically able to jump in an defend them should this happen. Consequently, since my boys are just alone with me most of the time, they become very excited when they see other dogs or people.

Hi and welcome!  We have doodle romps a few times a year and will post them here and on our FAcebook page when we have them.   Please join our Facebook page...las Vegas doodles.   There is also a new indoor dog park, it is called Barx Parx.  It is great and the staff manages the dogs and they have all been through a behavior assessment.   Much safer and better than regular parks.

Welcome to Las Vegas! Yes, please join our group. As Gypsy's mom said, I host doodle swim parties and would love for you to join. We have a potluck, doodles only, so they all get along and romp well together. We can teach them how to swim safely, but most importantly the dogs have a blast and give us tons of laughs. Also you will be able to meet many new doodles and their crazed owners such as myself. The next part is this Sunday, August 26th at 3pm until whenever. Eva - That sounds wonderful! Unfortunately, I won't be able to join you on the 26th, but certainly look forward to joining you sometime in the future. I live in Inspirada. I know it will be very good for my 2 doods to meet other doodles their size. Right now, they just have me and their dachshund siblings. With a total of 5 dogs in the house I only have 1 female - one of the dachshunds. And she thinks she rules the roost! Typical little gal! I will give you a call sometime soon. Thanks.
