I have a question regarding pet insurance. Last week, I took Paddy to the vet for a vaccination and asked them for information on pet insurance. I was given info on (3)
EMBRACE, ASPCA and VPI. They did not recommend one over another however told me to check the customer satisfaction page of Petinsurance.com, which gave embrace very high marks in comparison. Does anyone have experience with this insurance shopping? Thanks, Paddy is generally healthy (8 months old mini born to mimi and willie nelson, 18 inches to the withers, 22.5 lbs), however twice his back right leg has gone lame, perhaps just the result of roughousing at camp or something, it is fine after a few days of restriction...and this second time his leg came up like this I thought that I should check into pet insurance, just in case this is an issue as he ages ( he is only 8 months old). The vet just has him rest a few days and it does the trick so I am hoping it is just an overactive puppy thing, he does run and run and run all day long. I think however, it may be wise for me to invest in insurance. I appreciate any and all suggestions!

I am also in the market for Pet insurance...My Corky is almost 12 weeks old and after just a few vet visits for routine items, I realize that insurance would be worth it if there was ever an accident etc. I am hoping to sit and focus on this during this weekend....I will let you know what my research brings up.....

I just signed up for EMBRACE, so I will let you know how it is. Paddy's leg seems better, I think he pulled a muscle....I kept him home and resting for the week.
Monday night (weather permitting, we are expecting 15 inches of snow tomorrow) we are starting Agilio....a combination of agility and rall-o.
