Our 6th annual romp is set for April 24, 2010. We are looking forward to another great day together! Following last years theme we are holding another "ROMP AROUND THE WORLD" in coordination with The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. (IDOG)

Just as in previous years the romp will be held at our regular Long Island indoor venue. Although renting the facility is required, it is so nice not to have to worry about the weather. Hamburgers, hot dogs, cold drinks and snacks will be served for the humans. Cost of the food is included in your entrance fee. As in the past, you can save a little by sending in your payment ahead of time rather than paying at the door.

LOCATION: Community Church of Syosset
Gymnasium (Rubber floor)
36 Church Street
Syosset, New York 11791

WHEN: April 24, 2010
TIME : 11:00 - 4:00

Fee:

Doodle & Their Family Individuals without a dog

$20.00 Paid in Advance (prior to 4/15/10) $4.00 Per Person Paid in Advance (before 4/15/10)
$25.00 Paid at the Door $5.00 Per Person - Paid at the Door

If you would like to prepay, please email me and I will email the waiver. Fill it out and send it back to me with your payment payable to:

Pat Lovell
98 Cold Spring Road
Syosset, New York 11791

Returning the waiver will allow us to have a name tag made for you and save time at the door.

This year we are looking for volunteers to assist with serving food, cleaning up during the romp and standing guard at the door. Making sure our Doodles remain safe is priority. If you would be willing to volunteer, please let me know.

Also, I would like to put together a list of recommended veterinarians, groomers, trainers, dog friendly places to visit, dog parks, etc. I will compile the list and have it available at the romp.

Hello everyone, can you recommend a good groomer in the NYC area (adept at dealing with energetic puppies)? Thanks!

I live in the WNY area and would love to get together for a "Doodle Day" although I don't know any place to suggest unfortunately.

I've been to Alley Pond for bird watching once and I love the place. another place togo is Atlantic Beach on Long Island. They allow dogs on the beach during the winter months.

Hopefully we can find some people & a place near Buffalo....Queens would be a nice road trip though! These romps sound fun it would be great to see how many WNY's are interested???

Alley pond is a huge park with open fields and hiking trails. No "dog run" exactly. But, just so you know every morning there are a bunch of dogs off leash, with different groups of people. It is doggy heaven.

does Alley Pond have a dog run or just an open area?
