New Goldendoodle Puppy - looking for Vet, Groomer, etc. in Germantown

Hello MADOGs,

 

We are bringing home a medium goldendoodle puppy next month and we're looking for recommendations for a vet and groomer in the Germantown, TN area. Any good suggestions? Any recommendations for training classes in the area?

 

Also looking for any opinions on getting pet insurance and if so, recommended providers.

 

We're really excited and want to make sure we have our ducks in a row!

Welcome to the group. We use Lisa at the PetSmart in the Target shopping center on Poplar just off the interstate. She does a great job on Sunny

Congrats on your new puppy! I use Pets Choice Animal Clinic in Memphis--it's a short drive away. The reason I go there is because they take Pet Assure--I have a membership and I get 25% off every bill! I found this much simpler than typical insurance. I'm very happy with both the clinic and with Pet Assure and I highly recommend both.

I agree with Peter and Ann:  Lisa at the Petsmart in the Target center.  She does an awesome job and is very caring.  Because I have three doodles, the expense got to be too much for me so now I groom them my self most of the time and only splurge rarely to have them tidied up by Lisa since my grooming of the four-legged kids leaves something to be desired.  I'm still learning!!
