I still haven't worked out how to leave water during the day but we only leave Riley for an hour at a time so far during the day. I think to go three hours without water is too long during the day so perhaps one of those water bottles for feeding rabbits that tie onto the crate side would work? We are really making huge progress on the potty training but it takes constant watching. We have Riley on a long line indoors at all times. Socialization is the most important task in these early weeks. There is ton of advice here on DK, check out all the groups and read loads.
