Any Suggestions on a good coupler leash?

We've recently gotten our second labradoodle! Rosie is now four months old and learning to walk nicely on a leash, she's doing very well walking by my side, so easy to control at four months! I've walked her short distances together with our two year old doodle Oliver, but I can see the tangling of the leashes will soon become an issue as she gets bigger. Right now I walk her and my DH walks Oliver while she's in "training". But I really would like to walk them both together, both on my left side.

I like my collars and leashes to match if possible, I love the patterns available from up-country dogs, but any quality leash and collar will do. Any suggestions on a good coupler! Not too heavy since Rosie only 15 lbs now and Oliver is 30.

Nothing beats a good leather coupler! I have had this one for 20 years. it 3/4 of and in leather with brass hooks.

Thanks Bev, I did get a good leather leash I just have to get it soft and "worked in" when they're new they're not comfortable in my hand.I was told to rub it with an oil and to hang it over night , I feel like I'm trying to season a pan!

Ann, put some mint oil on it and it will soften and preserve from water damage! Good Luck and enjoy those doodles!

Don't put cooking oil as the dogs may eat on you:-)

Congrats! I use the gentle leader leash and each dood wears a gentle leader so I have no pulling. You can adjust the leash to allow each dood space. I tried a coupler with about 10 inches of space and that didn't work well. I purchased at the local pet store that carries the gentle leader. It's way too expensive for a leash but it has worked well for a few years meaning good service. My one dood is 55 lbs and the other 43 lbs so that's a heafty weight together. I have a 9 month old puppy but I will walk on a separate leash. I used to walk 3 dogs together but sense it's not going to happen with my wild puppy girl :  )
