I currently have 2 doodles. One of them I foster but her adoption is pending.
I made a deposit for our 2nd doodle to be born in August.
My question is how do you exercise 1st doodle while the 2nd one is going through his immunizations? Normally I take Nimbus to the dog park almost every day. Can his paws be wiped afterward or does he have to be confined to the backyard to keep the new puppy safe from parvo?

Helga, that is a good question. I would use your own judgement as to whether you feel that Nimbus would bring germs back.  I know that my dogs all got kennel cough at one of our romps at Arbor Dog Park, and they infected the cousin dogs who were not there. And all of them had been fully immunized.

Hmmm.   That is a good question.  Maybe there is another area closer to home where you can walk the two of them safely.  I currently have three doodles and take them all to the dog park at the same time, but walk them here at home separately.  It gives me an hour of exercise which is good when I am not swimming.  Tomorrow, I go back to swimming, so the dogs may lose out a little.  We will still get in some walks.

Never thought about this. I just figured I'd take yogi on his usual walks in the park. Hmmm, good question. I was also planning on continuing Yogi's training to get his canine good citizen certification. But it does create more risk
