GREAT Groomer in East Bay

I am looking for a great groomer in the East Bay;   Walnut Creek or surrounding areas.  I'm finding it difficult to find one that really knows how to groom a Doodle.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi -- We live in Walnut Creek and I have tried many groomers in the area.  The very best groomer is Pam who owns All In a Dog.  She owns her own shop on the border of Pleasant Hill/Martinez -- about 10 minutes from where I live in Walnut Creek.  Her phone number is 925-300-3230.  You can tell her that Gracie and Clyde's mom Carolyn recommended you.  I have two doodles -- a white goldendoodle 70 pounds, Gracie and Clyde who is a labradoodle about 35 pounds.  She does a great job on doodles.  I have a good dog walker/sitter and boarder also if you ever need any names around this area...

yes -- it was called something else from what I hear -- but Pam is the new owner and renamed it...  she used to work at the main groomer at Waiterock Kennels in lafayette... she does so many doodles and totally knows what she is doing... Sophie will be one happy puppy and look darling!

Hi there!  Pam retired.  I use Paw Spa in Danville.  The groomer I use is Natalie.  She does soooooo many doodles and does a terrific job.  She knows the doodle cut -- the dogs have fun there --- really -- darling place and warm and friendly owners.  The price is very reasonable.  I board my pups with a gal in Danville who let's the dogs stay in  her house.  She has a huge yard and has been doing this for years.  I have been with her for probably 4 years.  Her name is Kris Anderson and her business is Pampering Paws.  You will love her.  I take the pups there to play twice a week.....  her phone number is 325-1221.  Tell her Gracie and Clyde's mom recommended you.  Paw Spa phone number is 838-7297.  The gal who answers the phone is Kerry -- tell her that I referred you.  They will know Gracie and Clyde.

Thanks for the info, Carolyn!  I will check them out!  Does Kris Anderson brush when you board with her?  It's always a problem when I go away--the only time Baxter gets any mats!

My neighbour came by to check in on Rosie's condition after her hospital stay and I remembered to ask her about the groomer she likes for her little poodle. She is always so well groomed. It is called - Kutz for Mutz.

Hi, Janice!  I have seen some goldendoodles who were groomed at Oksana's, and they looked good.  I am a bit concerned about some of the comments I saw about them on Yelp, however, and a little afraid to try her.  One dog's eye had a chemical burn!!  Someone else said that they saw Oksana leave a dog on the table with a noose on it's neck--very dangerous!  It's hard to know if the bad things are true...  She had quite a lot of bad reviews and just as many good ones, so who is right?

Hi Patti, I have never used Oksana's and had just heard about her. I would be worried using anyone who had bad reviews. I use to live in Blackhawk and always took my Briard to Tassajara Vets groomer called Cindy. She was great and did all hand cutting, but took a long time. Not sure if she is still there. Good luck finding the "perfect one"

Hi, Janice!  I understand!  I have heard a lot of good things about Oksana's as well, and as I said I've seen goldendoodles that she's done and they did look good.  I thank you for your recommendation!  t's just hard for me to get past those bad reviews even though there are plenty of 5 star reviews as well!
