Northern VA Area Doodle Group. We schedule monthly Doodle Romps to get our doodles together to play. Winter Romps are going to be held outdoors now at the Beatley Library Dog Park on Duke Street in Alexandria.

Is there a person/family that is willing to take over this group? My family has recently moved out of the area and can no longer manage this group and organize the Doodle Romps... Please contact me if anyone is still interested in keeping this group going -

Parking is at the library parking lot. This is a pretty large fenced in area with plently of trees, benches, grass, and drinking water. The crowd there is pretty regular and are always friendly to newcomers.
This place is easy to find:
Take 395 to Duke Street Exit (EAST)
Continue on Duke Street about 2 1/2 miles and it's on your left right before the Library.

There is also the dog park on Baron Cameron Avenue; it's not too far from Sterling.

Either weekend in July is good for me. Let's keep in touch. Is Rock Hill Dog Park the one located at 15150 Old Lee Rd, Chantilly, VA?

I would do Rock Hill in Chantilly. I've heard it's a good one. Also, both weekends at the beginning of July work for me.

The Chantilly, Herndon, or Reston locations would work for me.
Just curious, Heather and Kimberly - where did you get your Aussiedoodles? Our Cydney came from Nancy and Steve at Doodlesville.

Jeanne- I have an Aussiedoodle, just Sterling is too far to go to meet up as it is likewise for you to go out to the usual doodle romp locations. If we can arrange a doodle romp in Chantilly that would be great as I would also love to meet another one as we've never met another one in person either. But regardless we're in for any romp! And the first or second week of July sounds good to me but I am unfamiliar with dog parks in that area as we are out in Burke/Springfield. Here is a link to area dog parks if we can find one that works best for everyone. http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/parks/wp-offleash.htm Looks like Rock Hill District Park is nice and big in Chantilly... has anyone been there before? I'd prefer not to go past Reston for other options.

Our boy is an F1b Chocolate but just yesterday at our cottage in Kitty Hawk a couple had a lovely Aussiedoodle that looked similar to yours. :) I should have told them about this forum.

Hi Kimberly -- we also live in Sterling. We have an Aussiedoodle. Which doodle is your dog? We have been unable to find anyone in our area with an Aussiedoodle and I would love to compare notes.
We might be able to meeting Chantilly (I don't care to go much further than that.)
