Jeanne - you are not alone!  I have the same issue here in Springfield... Jake was the first Aussiedoodle my vet and groomer had seen and since then my groomer now has 2 or 3 others but I've yet to meet them.  When the doodle romps start back up this winter you should come so Jake and Cydney could meet!

We are still looking for other Aussiedoodle owners in our general area.  We live in Sterling, VA.  While we have seen many other doodles in our neighborhood, we have never encountered another Aussidoodle; even our vet (Seneca Hill, Great Falls, VA) has not seen many them, maybe one or two at the most besides our Cydney.  We would love to meet more of these funny, lovable dogs.  If anyone knows of other Aussiedoodle owners, please let me know.  We got Cydney from Nancy and Steve at aussiedoodles.com.

Tell Tanner to "smile", my boys are hosting another "Doodle-Day" romp on 27 January at the Olde Towne Pet Resort in Springfield! The one in the spring was a great hit, you can check out the pic's through their blog post "Groovy Goldendoodles Everywhere"We will start sending out reminders in a few weeks.... Every doodle is welcome!

I have a very sad doodle on my hands, he misses having puppy friends to play with. Are there going to be any doodle romps this winter?

Definitely going to set up Romps again for Fall/Winter/Spring. We have just returned from our summer vacation.  I'll update our page in the next week when I hear back from ADDO (who hosts our events).  Chancy will be excited to start playing with her Doodle Friends...it's been a long HOT summer without them!

Hi Allison- We used Barbara @ http://www.goldendoodledogs.com she is in PA but it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive from Northern VA (We are in Alexandria) and we have gotten 2 doodles from her.  they are both wonderful dogs!  It was an easy drive up there and her website isn't the greatest...but she focuses her time with the pups.  This is her and her husband's full time job... Retired world.  Good luck!

We live in Arlington.  We used Laurel Ridge (laurelridgegoldendoodles.com) even though they are located in Blacksburg (I believe).  However, they own a home in Frederick, MD, and come up once a month.  That's where we picked up our cutie!  They were one of the few (at the time) that had "minis" -- ours is 50 lbs though!
