Breeding Dogs and Puppies live in the home and not in a kennel, out building, garage or outside? Each mother has her own little house which is a large wooden child's playhouse.  They interact with Heather's family and spend a lot of time in her house. Great setup!

Was home and property clean and pleasant? I visited Heather and was very impressed with her care of her dogs.  I would not have accepted Holly from a ratty, dirty place.

Where you allowed to view health records and testing for the parent dogs or other dogs owned by the breeder? yes

Were the dogs well groomed? exceptionally

Were the dogs well behaved and obedient? very much so

Was at least one of the parents on site for the visitation? I met both parents

Would you buy another dog from this breeder again in the future? definitely

 

We did a lot of research before deciding to purchase our Goldendoodle, Holly, from Heather Goines.  The research included Internet search, books, attendance at doodle romps and phone calls and emails to Heather.

 

Heather provided a 2-year health guarantee and was exceptionally helpful in all phases of our research and puppy selection.

 

I traveled toTexas from San Diego so I could see the parents and monitor Heather's operation in general.  I was very impressed with her setup and the way her dogs were kept.

 

Heather selected Holly for us and we have had our darling Goldendoodle for over four years now.  She is an exceptionally beautiful, healthy and wonderful dog with a great loving personality.  Recently we had the opportunity to meet one of Holly's half-sisters (same father different mother) who lives with her family in Northern California.  She was also a great doodle in every way.

Love Heather and Cheyenne Valley Labradoodles and Goldendoodles!!

Lucy is a littermate to Holly.  She is the BEST!  A great disposition and smart!  Did I mention SMART?? Sometimes too smart for her own good... LOL

Lucy did great at agility but we didn't get to progress too far because the trainer moved out of town.  She has her CGC (Canine Good Citizen) and is a Certified Therapy Dog.  She loves everyone but especially old people and children.  She's also a good watch dog - alerting when someone comes around the house.

I can't say enough good things about Heather.  She knows what she's doing and when you get your puppy you can be assured she is in good health and has been well loved on (and not raised on concrete!)

My labradoodle "Paz" is from Cheyenne Valley Labradoodles and he is absolutely amazing. He became a registered "Pet Partner" therapy dog at the age of 14 months, (he is now 2 1/2)  Paz is smart, loving and looks like a huge muppet.  He accompanies me to work at the NYC Family Justice Center in Brooklyn and he is one of the first therapy dogs being used by prosecutors to successfully work with children who have witnessed violence that are testifying in court.  I highly recommend Cheyenne Valley Labradoodles; Heather truly know her dogs and is a quality breeder.
