Awesome Goldendoodle available for "open" adoption in SE PA!
We are sad to have to re-home our Odie. We adopted him about 3 months ago. Our other dogs do not like him at all and the stress seems to be impacting them, as well as Odie, who desperately wants to be their friend. Odie, as it turns out, is also not good with small animals - he chases our cats & stalks our chickens. Odie LOVES dogs & has done great at Doggie Daycare. He loves people, playing ball, & playing in water. He is smart & atheletic. He is tall, weighs about 65 lbs, & will turn 2 years old this December. The ideal adopter would have 1 or more other active, playful dogs in their home. They would have no cats & no very small children. They would be experienced with large dogs & have an active lifestyle. Strong preference given to an adopter who uses positive training as opposed to punitive methods. Odie does need continued training & work on his manners. I would be happy to talk at length about Odie with serious prospective adopters. There will be an adoption fee & contract. A home visit is required. We would prefer Odie go to a family in Southeastern PA or the surrounding area & would like to be kept up-to-date about how he is doing & possibly have some visits with him - or even dog-sit him for the new family as needed. This is a difficult decision for our family, but we need to think of the well-being of our other animals, as well as Odie who would be happier in a home with dogs who love him. Please let me know if you are interested.
Yes! I'm in New Castle - about an hour north of Pitts. It may be too small, depending...
Its a plastic crate with a wire door. Lemme measure tonight...
Anyone in Pittsburgh that can load a crate for a foster puppy? Vanne Gogh is 5 months old and weighs 35 lbs. If you can loan it out for a few weeks, please let me know.
thanks!!
