Do your puppies sleep in a bed? After weening Giada from her crate we got her a bed. Well, she chewed that one and now two others:( I would like her to have a nice soft place to sleep. When she does have a bed she LOVE them............when we first bring them home she lays on them constantly, but a couple weeks go by and BAM..........she chews them up:(

Maybe when she's older?? The thing is she hasn't chewed anything in our home in months!!!

Louie is 7 1/2 months old and sleeps in a crate (the largest size available) with a soft foam cushion in it. He is a wonderful sleeper- never a peep all night. Our trainer says you can't completely trust a dog not to be destructive until they are 2. I would say Giada is too young to be out of her crate if she is being destructive.
No she is NOT distructive to ANYTHING in our house..........she has been out of her crate for 4 months and if great!!! I am asking about the bed......and she probably is too young for it. She is much older than yours.
Have you tried bitter apple when she starts to chew it? Lucca sees the bottle and stops chewing on the spot!! Also, in Orvis catalogue they have "tough chew" beds. At least that's what they boast!! Good luck
You know this last bed I was going to spray the zipper with BA, but forgot. Glad to know it worked for you. We might also try a no zipper one.
