Anybody else found it impossible to put on easy walk harness??

Try making him sit, then hold up the harness with the treat in the center. When he goes for the treat, pull it back so he has to stick his head through the neck loop of the harness. Once that's done give him the treat, and clip on the colored piece (or if not colored, the one that goes under the belly behind the forelegs) while he snarfles the treat.

We use yogis collar for going out on leash to potty. But the harness has always been a special treat. It's only used for walks and going in the car, so he sees it as a reward and can't wait to get it on.

Is it possible to try this tactic out?... If you can get it on ;-)

Yikes! After reading through this discussion I'm thinking that I won't even try to get the easy walk harness on Yarrow and size it up right until AFTER she's been able to spend her energy on the trails.  I'd rather attempt this when she's wound down.  Maybe if I put it on her a couple of times after she's spent, she won't resist it so much before a walk.  So I'll just leave it for until the weekend.  I figure she should be ready to run the trails by weekend. (Spay was a week ago today.)
