Do Doodles typically chew on electrical cords? If so, how do you doodle proof these items?

Mine definitely tried to chew on charging cables. The only thing to do so trying to keep them out of reach, but also saying a firm no and replacing with a bully stick or chew toy.
I totally agree! You just have to watch them like a hawk for awhile and if you can't then it's kennel time or play pen time. This method worked well for us. He still goes after socks and shoes but if we give him a firm no he usually drops it and moves along.

Ned  did.  At home, we blocked cords with furniture and posterboard (cardboard) in front of outlets or placed in front of the cords snaking along a wall.  However, once we asked someone to watch him in the RV while we attended a wedding. The man was playing on his computer and plugged it in, Ned proceeded to chew through the cord.  We think he got a bit of a shock because that was the one and only time he chewed a cord.

Mine did once and chewed it straight through. Thank goodness the switch was off. This was the one and only time and he never attempted to chew on them before. In addition to telling him "leave it" and watching him, I also sprayed all exposed cords with bitter apple. He's never done it again since.
