Can anyone out there recommend something that will get the doggie smell out of our couch. It's microfiber and easily cleaned. I've tried Nature's Miracle but that doesn't seem to have helped. There is not a stain, it's just kinda stinky from Finn sitting next to me all the time. And considering it has finally stopped raining after 5 days there has been a lot of damp dog on there too. It's kinda a sour smell. Yuck!

Up until this week I had a micro suede couch as well (just got a new leather one because of this exact problem!). I used to wash my covers about every six months (mine came off and could be washed); I also used febreeze (the fabric kind) about once a week on all the pillows (both sides) and all the cushions and that really seemed to help. Good luck!
I use Febreeze for pets as well. But this stuff : http://www.zeroodorpet.com, Zero Odor, came with a Dyson Vacuum cleaner. It actually works pretty well. It is an enzyme cleaner, so it's not covering the smell, but actually cleaning it. I see you can buy it on Amazon, but wanted to list their website for you to see.

On micro fiber, use rubbing alcohol. Scrub down the couch with it. It will take out the stains and the smells. Do it during the day when you can have a window open for a little while. It evaporates quickly and leaves no odor. (Though the odor while you are doing it is quite strong!) You can also use vodka, but rubbing alcohol is cheaper! Though vodka might be more fun! Anyway, its what I do with my microfiber. It smelled like smoke when we got it (craigs list) and when I finished, it smells like nothing!

I'm not sure about micro fiber couches but I have a very old cat who no longer can find the litter box and after using nature's miracle oxy (plain doesn't work) I put one of these on the spot and it somehow lifts the stink? Allow area to dry first. You can find them at home depot or Lowes. They work great!

What is this? Does it have a name? We have trouble with our cat too!
Sadly I can't Remember the name but it's in the cleaning section it absorbs odors. It works great. I'll swing by home depot and check it out.
Febreeze sells a new natural unscented which is nice and it works really well on smells with out trying to mask it with a scent. If it is a deep smell it may take a few applications before it all goes away.

I use a product called Bac-Out, also an enzyme cleaner. Great for smells. I used it to on cloth diapers for years and all the puppy messes now. Used to get it through Amazon but my local grocery store carries it now.
