What weird things does your doodle do, or like.

Chance does not like the meat bones that I buy him.

Instead, he likes carrots, lettuce, sweet potatoes, and other fruits and vegetables.

Also, he is afraid of hights. He will jump on the couch but is afraid to jump off of it, and he will not go up stairs.

What does your doodle do that is weird?

My puppy Barley loves the color pink! He is immediately drawn to any pink pig he sees at Petsmart, as well as toys with feathers. I can imagine him wearing a pink feather boa and loving it. Also, Barley cannot greet anyone without first grabbing a toy. He gets so excited when saying good morning that he cries. My pup also seems very cat-like. He "washes" his face after every meal with his paw. Then he'll rub against the couch or my leg while cleaning his mouth. Sometimes Barley also arches his back like I cat while I pet him. He's done these things since the day I've brought him home, so I don't think he's imprinted on any of our cats. Barley also loves to touch things with his paw and will jump on the couch and put his paw on someone's shoulder, as if he's putting the moves on the person.

Barley also has to stick his head in any bag he sees, including my purse. I've found him dragging my purse across the floor a few times.

 

In summary, my doodle is weird but I love him very much!

He seems like a funny guy.

They seem to be a very quarky breed!

Yep, Barley is. It sounds like Chance is, too. It seems he has definite food preferences! I've never known a dog to ignore meat. I don't think Barley has any phobias that I know of, except of other dogs growling.

When I give my doodle carlos a pepperoni stick he carries it around in his mouth unsure of what to do with it. He starts to whine and let out little crys while it's in his mouth then he drops it and barks at it and then follows me around with it for a few minutes. He eventually decides to eat it but it is so funny, anything and I mean anything else I give him he eats immediatly.

They definatly have their quirks!
