What is too young for doggie day care? Cally is going to be five months on the 20th and I did not know if that is to young to put her into daycare.  She is not spayed so I am not sure if that would be an issue. I am sure all my questions would be asked if I call the local day cares, but I was wondering if anyone could help me before I waste my time calling.

I think you can take them at 4 months if fully vaccinated. Normally if they are older than 6 months they need to be neutered

At least 5 months for my daycare and she would need to be spayed. Butters goes to daycare M-F and it's so worth it!!

My dog started going to daycare when she was 3 months old, before she had been spayed.  However, at one other doggy daycare in town the dogs were required to be spayed/neutered.

I found a doggy day care that makes you have them spayed or neutered after six months. Cally has an evaluation on Saturday. I was thinking I would have her go on Mondays since I work a really long time on those days and I would be spending my money more wisely if I put her into daycare right now. I currently pay my best friends sister who is still in high school which is like five minutes from my house. I pay her 10 dollars an hour and she usually stays for one or two but for day care it would be 24 dollars a day and it would be all day! So it would definitely be worth it! I guess I am just paranoid because I am under contract and I cannot have her get pregnant! Am I over thinking this? Is there even a chance that could happen?

Also there is a webcam so that is reassuring that I can check on her whenever I want to!

I talked to my breeder and she told me not to worry and that she has never had a girl come into heat before nine months. She said it would be great for Cally! I feel better especially since she is the one I have the contract with! Thanks all for your help!
