My sweet Lucy girl is almost 15 weeks old. She is always watching TV! I've had dogs watch a ew seconds of a show but she will sit for a minute plus! Kid cartoons seem to really grab her attention! She's watched AFV, Matrix, commercials.... The funniest was when I was watching The Dog Whisperer! I had to turn the channel bc she started to cry bc a dog on the show was upsetting her so much! She was walking around crying! My husband are always giggling at this. Does your doodle watch TV?

He does for a veer short period. He will move his head left to right like he is really taken it in. Too funny.

The other night we were watching the Planet Earth documentary about the oceans. Connor was lying in my lap. When a pod of dolphins swam across the screen his head popped up and he went on alert. He must've laid there for 10 minutes watching the underwater life -- although I think the dolphins were his favorite. He did lay his head back down during the commercials. :-) Doodles are definitely amazing.

Cody loves to watch TV!  The funniest thing was when we were watching a movie and he was not paying attention....all of a sudden Penelope Cruz came on doing a very seductive (strip tease) dance and he went wild!!!  He started barking at the screen like crazy!  He also reacts whenever dogs are barking on the TV by running around the house looking out the window for the dog.  By the way, we just found a plastic cylinder in his mouth and did not know what it was.  We just discovered that he ate the top off of a pool stick from our pool table!

Yes, Wrigley watches TV all the time. Sometimes she'll start whining or barking when we are watching a show with animals on it. She was even interested in a turtle the other day, it blew my mind.

Roxy has been watching TV with me since she was about 20 mos. old.  We would watch the differant dog shows and she would get up close to check out the dogs.  She is 1 1/2 now and she'll  jump up on the foot stool with her front paws crossed and wait for any kind of animal to appear on the TV so she can bark wildly at them.  She loves children in person, but on the TV she barks at them too.  The other day the "Bacon" dog food commercial was on and Roxy was in the other room.  She knows this commercial because she came running in to watch it (and bark of course).  This commercial dosen't have a dog barking just bacon, bacon, bacon, so how did she know that commercial was on when she was in another room?  Spencer watches with her sometimes and follows her barking lead.  If he is in the room by himself and the TV is on he'll check it out if a dog, or animal, comes on and then runs and gets her so they can try and attack the TV together.  It is all too funny, but rather annoying.  Sometimes watching TV can be like going through a dog barking gauntlet! Maybe someone has a suggestion as to how I can minimize Roxy's reaction to the animals on the TV?

As funny as it seems, when my neighbor's dog Buddy gets too worked over a T.V. show, he gets a one minute or 2 minute time-out. He goes to another room for his time out.

My little Willow loves to watch Animal Planet.  I was watching a show about designer dogs and she sat on the bed and watched it. I had to laugh...she kept turning her head from side to side, and got excited when she heard them bark.

Sadie loves to watch Animal Planet, especially any of the dog shows. Sometimes she gets over excited & we have to change the channel. She also likes shows with little children.

Yep. :-)

Huff does watch TV:) He likes animal planet and cartoons. Just tonight, he was watching skating with the stars! haha:) They are so smart!
Buddy likes to watch TV.  We were watching AFV the other day and of course they had a dog segment and Buddy gets all excited and actually lunges toward the TV from the sofa and started sniffing the screen!  It was too funny!
Yes! She can't watch Dog Whisperer. It's the dog version of a scary movie. I have to wait until she goes to sleep to watch it.
