We brought our baby girl home this morning and she is the sweetest puppy imaginable! Today went much better than I thought....she slept in the car almost the whole way home and slept or chilled out most of the day. She came out of her shell around dinner time and had some fun with her new toys but it only lasted about 15 mins and then she crashed again. She did that another two times and now she's conked out at my feet. She went potty once in the house and twice outside! She gets all wound up and zoomie when she has to go out, so if that keeps up it should be pretty easy to tell. She loves being on my lap which is heaven! I'm guessing she was so chill today b/c it was a huge, overwhelming day for her so I'm reserving judgement on her temperament til she's settled in a bit. My kiddo (3.5yrs) did awesome too considering it was a huge day for him too and he didn't nap. He was a bit frustrated that she wouldn't chase him or play fetch like he was anticipating and I there was he was definitely feeling a little piqued at the amount of attention I was paying her. All in all a brilliant first day! Stay tuned.....I've read enough on here to know I'll be ranting and raving soon enough. ;-)

Ugh...."chase" is his favorite thing to do with her!! I read it wasn't a good idea but you're right...its super cute right now. *whine whine* can I please let it go a couple days and then be a hard-ass?*whine whine* ;-)
Sure, go ahead, let it go a couple days .... wink wink ...
She is beautiful, Bridget! We brought our baby boy home back in early January and it is like he has always been here with us. Enjoy every minute....they grow incredibly fast! :)
She is ADORABLE!!
She is adorable ! I see you kept true to the Mango part of the name, I like Lupin too.
Enjoy your new baby, and keep those pictures coming ! :)
We really thought her name would be Mango, but she was more of a Lupin. Her brother, on the other hand, was a total Mango....big beefy redhead with paws the size of dinner plates!
What a beauty!!! We visit our Griffin tomorrow and bring him home April 6. Can't wait!! How many weeks old is Lupin and how much does she weigh?
She is 9 weeks old now and as of yesterday weighs 11lbs 6oz. I hope you had a blast visiting with your pup!
Wow our baby is going to keep on growing so fast I guess! We had a great visit with him though he is so in love with the breeder I expect he'll have a rough first couple nights here. I don't know how much he weighs now but he's sooo much bigger than when we saw him 2 weeks ago! He's 6 weeks now. I'll enjoy watching Lupin grow, knowing Griffin will be right behind :-)
