We bathed our 14-week-old one week ago, but she is already smelling like a dog...This is due hopefully in large part to the fact that she is using a fake grass potty pad on our balcony until the vet has finished all her boosters and she can walk around the neighborhood. She has been known to lay down on them when tired. But I want her to smell good! So what tips do you have for keeping puppy smelling fresh? Thanks!

I use puppy wipes (there are several manufacturers, I think ours are Natures Balance brand, but any pet store will carry them I think) to keep Zoe clean when she rolls around in stuff between baths. I also use them on her feet when it's muddy so she doesn't track so much in the house. I also just started using a de-tangler called Tropi-clean that you can use on either wet or dry fur - in addition to really taming the mats, it smells wonderful.
Thanks, Kelly- will check these out.
We have an 11-week old and had the same dilemma. I just ordered this on amazon and it gets excellent reviews. I just used it for the first time today and we'll see how it goes! http://www.amazon.com/Buddy-Splash-Leave-Conditioner-Lavender/dp/B0...
I used plain old baby wipes for the puppies. I used it on their privates and underneath and also on the paw pads. I know they say not to bath them often but my two get a shower every three weeks and a spritz of dog cologne. I'm sure they couldn't care less but we like them and our home smelling good!
We bath every 2 weeks and I know that's probably too frequently, but, I'm with you, I like my dog to smell nice :-) Baby wipes are probably cheaper, that's a good idea. I just happen to pick up the puppy wipes when i'm in the pet store.
