Maddi plays with dead mice on a walk

I have a terrible mouse phobia and Maddi has been finding dead field mice on our walks and tossing them with her mouth.  At first I though it was some bark but it did not bounce.  

The other day she was rolling on her back on a walk and I found a dead snake on the ground.

I was so grossed out by the mouse, I actually washed her face with soap when we got home.

I saw butch frolicking in the yard, joyfully tossing something up in the air time after time. I called him in and he came charging in with feathers in his beard! Hmmm

In my old age, I have decided there are girl jobs and there are boy jobs.  Anything dealing with dead critters is a boy job.  You simply need to tell Maddi that she is a girl and playing with dead critters is not in her 'area'  :-}
