Our guy needs a name! HELP!

We cannot agree on a name. There are 4 opinions & we all have our own ideas.

I want Louie, Dexter, Leo or Murphy.

My husband wants Fozzie, Chewie or Wookie.

My 3 & 5 year olds want George or Murphy.

Other names we have discussed are Desmond, Charlie, Murray, Otto.

I ultimately have final say since I am going to be the main caretaker as a stay at home mom - but I want us all to be happy.

Help! Please. :)

If you are opening it up to a vote I will cast mine for Murphy or Louie. Although seeing his picture I have to say he looks the most like a Louie to me!!!

I decided that some day I was getting a dog and naming him Ridley and then about 3 month later I did so the naming part was already done for me! He also goes by Rids, Riddles and Ridley-Roo!

I like Fozzie or Leo or louie. Those are my picks but if I had to pick one I think Fozzie is the best:)

I like Dexter or Murphy - Dexter because I guess I like "er" names (like my Webster, or childhood dog Chester). I think he looks smart and Dexter sounds like a smart name. Murphy is my second choice. I also think he looks like a Jasper because he is the color of jasper.

He's a beautiful puppy and just has an intelligent look in his eyes.

Imagine it's 11 PM and he snuck out through the gate that one of your boys didn't latch securely. Now you're in the front yard in your pajamas yelling for your pup. Your neighbors are peeking out of their windows to see what the fuss is about.

What do you want ot be seen/heard calling in the street, in your pajamas at 11 PM?

"Gerorge!" "Come here, George!" (Let's hope none of the neighbors' husbands are named George!)

Personally I like Murphy and Murray.

We were calling him George on choosing day because we thought we had settled on it. But it just didn't seem like it flowed and fit him. I don't know. Maybe we need to keep trying.

We've practiced calling the dog with different names - but again, we can't agree.

Sometimes it doesn't fit until you've had the dog for a while. My husband and kids liked the name Charlotte, and I just couldn't get used to it. My hubby practiced calling "Webster! Charlotte!" and he liked it. I thought it sounded to much like an old lady - ha! Well, her name is Charlotte, it fits her, and now I'm used to it.
