Tearing up wee wee pads....

My girls are 4 and 6 months old and rarely use the pads anymore, however, we do leave one down when we are out and about just in case. Inevitably, the little one will use it and tear it up afterwards. I can't ever catch her in the act and I can't think of a way to discourage her without making her wary of the pad itself. What’s a mommy to do? Sorry, this may have been posted before but I couldn’t find it.

ANYONE?....BUELER?....lol. Ok, I was hoping this would be a common behavior with a common solution.  No worries, I'm sure it will pass.  Thank you all for your amazing input on other issues...I'm learning soooo much. :)

LOL my doodle is 14 weeks old but I just got her a few days ago.  She loves tearing up the wee wee pads.  No advice just wanted to say I understand!

hahaha.... well, thanks for the reply anyway Tara, I hope it's just a phase....I woulnd't mind so much if she didn't use the floor after tearing up the pad. Ahhhh well, this to shall pass. :)  Thanks again for commiserating.
