The good life.

[Jane, Rooney & Stuart]

I know that we all strive to give our doods the best life possible - the best kibble, grooming, exercise.  So I figured it was time to get Stuart a dog bed of his own.  Mind you Rooney has very rarely ever slept in his dog bed but I figured this was just quirky Rooney being weird.  So at some expense I order the same bed for Stuart but in a much larger size.  Oh goody - it came today along with the matching, personalized dog bone pillow.  Ya know I just had to take some cute photos of them on their beds.  Afterwards the boys decided it was time for a nap and . . . well lets just say that they don't appreciate the good life!  LOL

And this is how they both took their naps!  Go figure.

I gave up on beds. They almost never got slept on. Frequently got torn up at least chewed on, and a they seem to prefer a blanket or the tile. Go figure? Now my bed, that's another story....

That was so funny-thanks for sharing. I have a dood that is sleeping on floor over bed too.

Lets keep hope alive-I am hoping that fall and winter when its cooler he will move to

his expensive bed !!

Pippin usually prefers the floor to his bed.  I think it is because he gets too hot and the floor is nice and cool.

Jane, those two are just adorable.  I cannot get over how big Stuart is!  Both of them have the cutest puppy faces.  I hope they come to love their beautiful beds.

Jane...the one of them in their beds should be a calendar entry:) So cute.

Mine snuggle in their beds on and off throughout the day. But both also love the hardwood floor because it's cooler. Izzy also likes to sleep on the leather couch. My DH finds her there every morning when he comes down at 6am.

And..we do have a larger bed in the Kitchen. One of us "humans" are usually sitting in it petting the dog as we converse with other humans who are sitting at the table!!! They're really comfy:)

Luna likes to stretch out, so we got her one of those large, rectangular beds instead of one with bumper pillows.

 

She loves it and actually does sleep on it at night :)

 

Your boys are so cute.  It's pictures like these that make me want a 2nd doodle, but then reason kicks in, my fiance looks at me like I'm crazy and I discard the idea again ;)

Sophia has a nice bed in her crate, but she usually moves it over and sleeps on the plastic crate liner. She does use the bed as her pillow!!!!
