Weight Up-Date vol.2

Looks like we lost the weight up-date discussion some how.
I enjoyed checking into it every now and then, so I decided to make a vol. 2.
Charlie was 13.7lb @ 10 1/2 wks, 19.7lb @ 15wks, 22.3 lb @ 16 wks, 30lb @ 23 wks, and now 35lb @ 27 wks.

Well, Salvador, 20 days shy of 12 months old weighed in at 79.8lbs... He's stayed pretty steady since about 9.5 months old.  However, he got weighed due to being neutered, so my guess he's going too gain some weight now...  maybe end weight of 85-90lbs??

The whole thing of a dog gaining weight after a spay/neuter is just a myth. Being sterilized doesn't make a dog gain weight.

Stew's weights have been:

7 weeks 1 day: 5 lbs
9 weeks 1 day: 7 lbs
11 weeks 1 day: 8 lbs 10 oz
16 weeks 1 day: 12 lbs

I'm thinking the 16 week formula will put him at the 20-25 lbs predicted. I've heard that doubling doesn't always work for minis though.

Also, Sarah & Ro- I've heard that you need to slightly decrease the amount of food they get per day after spay/neuter. Not sure how accurate that is though.

I have a weight almost every week for Ragley because I was pretty anal about it...

Ragley's weights:

8 weeks: 10.5 lbs

9 weeks: 11.7 lbs

10 weeks: 14 lbs

11 weeks: 16.4 lbs

12 weeks: 18.8 lbs

13 weeks: 18.6 lbs

14 weeks: 22 lbs

16 weeks: 26.5 lbs

4 months: 27.2 lbs (but she has been sick)

Height at 4 months is about 19-19.5 inches (the best I can tell anyway)

The weight prediction formula I have heard of predicts that she will be around 63 lbs

5 months: 34.6 lbs

6 months: 39.6 lbs

7 months: 44 lbs

8 months: 48 lbs ( a little over 23" at withers)

Yogi, a mini,  will be 5 months in a few days, he weighs 24.4 # now.

Sounds like Yogi might end up being a medium instead of a mini!  When I got Kona, he was supposed to be a medium (30 to 35 pounds), but he stopped growing at 8 months and 24 pounds, so he ended up being  a large mini.  He was 19 pounds at 5 months old.  He is still 24 to 24.5 pounds at 16 months old, and 16.5 inches tall. 

I looked at yogi's photos and he is adorable!

Thanks! The breeder called him a mini, size 25-35 #. He was largest of the litter, so I look for him to be exactly what you said 30-35#'s. Just a perfect size. We started out wanting the full size, but felt it might not fit our lifestyle, so he is great for us!

Belle has been 17 1/2 lbs for about a month now. Se will be 8 months on February 1. She is a mini. The breeder thought she would be 20 lbs or low 20s, but I'm not sure she will get to 20 lbs.

Sounds like you have a little peanut! Sweet! When kona arrived at 8 weeks, he was 3.5 pounds and seemed so tiny. He is now a large mini at 24.5 pounds at 16 months. He reached that weight at 8 months
