I'm waiting for my doodle to come home and already can't wait for her to make some doodle friends. I was wondering around what time frame she would be able to meet/play with other dogs. I know that its  a process and varies from puppy to puppy, but I was just wondering when your dog was ready to play?

They have to get all of their shots first, I think that was around 4 months. A lot of trainers and classes around us at least have "puppy play time" which is just playing with a big group of puppies so they are mostly the same ages, that's really fun and great socialization.
You could look into a puppy kindergarten. I think those classes are usually open to pups from 8 weeks to 20 weeks of age. I did puppy kindergarten and advanced puppy kindergarten with Barley. The puppies need to be started on and kept up-to-date with their series of vaccinations. Part of puppy K time usually involves an off-leash play/romp time to help the puppies become socialized around other dogs. Some kindergartens are divided into small puppies and large puppies. I'm really glad I did those classes.
