Hello,

 

I am interested in adding more of a raw diet into my 9 month old doodles meals.  Currently he enjoys raw carrots and apples but I would definitely like to expand his palate.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

My dogs love cooked carrots but will spit out raw carrots.

Although they are better if boiled, sweet potatoes are one of the most healthful foods for both humans and dogs...  I have been making a kibble topping of sweet potatoes (or yams), carrots and either chicken or beef - cooked in a slow cooker and then run through a Cuisinart food processor.
