Hi, Dylan is about the same weight too and about 23 inches. Reggae is gaining quickly and I am guessing is at least 38 lbs now. Someone came over to see them and

thought Reggae looked like a baby buffalo.

This is Madison on the dock yesterday, have not posted a new picture in a while.

Madison is a squirrel and rabbit chaser also. As soon as I let her out she runs to the side of the yard where the rabbits always run. One night I let her out she leaped off the deck right over top the rabbit boy was that a good chase. Neither of us saw the rabbit until she was in mid air. Yesterday two squirrels were chasing each other around the yard and she chased them up the tree, sometimes I wish she would catch them they are very destructive little creatures.

Melissa love the pictures your camping trip it is beautiful there. Reggae looks absolute exhausted, tired doodles are good doodles. I love letting them play in the water it wears them out so quickly.

Awww, how fun! Swimming and camping, what a neat trip! :)

Michele- We love having two doodles too! :) I used to be Boo's primary "playmate", and it would take forever to wear him out! But now Cricket wears him out for us! Its so fun to see them run around the yard and wrestle with each other. Cricket was easy to housetrain, though we did take her out quite often. I think she had maybe 5 accidents in the house ever. Boo was a good role model and she learned to follow his example. I think that's key- having a well behaved "first dog" to set the example.

I think the only disadvantages to having 2 are: its harder to walk 2 doodles by yourself, and they get dirty faster (from wrestling, etc). Oh and grooming takes longer. :)

Oh how cute to see baby Reggae! We saw the pics of pregnant Bailey...what a cutie. We've been training ours to sit up like she is in the 2nd pic on Southern Charm site. Did you train her to do that?
Here's a few pics of our doodles from the camping trip.

Poor squirrel...I had never heard squirrel falling down the tree. I always thought they are so much sure footed. That would have been a camera moment - a horrified look on your face:-) A week back, when i let Berry out, i saw a baby rabbit getting out of a bush...but before I could hold her there she was chasing it...I just did not know what to do...not even a sound came out of my mouth:-) Luckily, the rabbit was faster than Berry. Even today, when i let Berry out, she goes straight to the same place at the fence where the rabbit escaped out...I just hope that rabbit is not dumb enough to come back in:-)

So a small disaster was averted with Bailey today..... I just let her out from my deck. As she was heading down the stairs, I saw a squirrel had fallen from a tree and apparently broke its neck. It was laying there twitching which was quite sad and gross. Then I realized Bailey was GOING to find him, I RAN down my stairs was able to grab/bribe her before she found the "treasure". EEEK! I am not a fan of vermin like critters, let alone dead ones. I don't know what I would have done if she got him. So now, she's banned from the backyard till "Daddy" gets home or the resident hawk takes care of him! Poor squirrel!
