Cricket you and Boo are soo cute in your easter bunny ears!!!

We are pulling up the carpet in the house and putting in hardwood and Maddie was a big help!!!

Here at the end of the day so tired from all that hard work...

Here's Dylan's before hair shot with the length extended. It was too hard to get it next to the ruler but you get the idea. The trim got him to 7".

I''ll try to capture the length next to a ruler. He has a wide variety of lengths from 1" around his eyes and 2-3" on top of his head and 4-8 on his back. Today we bought a very nice pair of thinning shears and they showed me how to cut one locket of hair at a time. That's pretty much what we've been doing with the twist and cut method my hairdresser taught us, which gives the nice layered look. They also showed me how to cut Reggae's ever-expanding hairdoo. His is just growing straight out everywhere in a fluffy ball formation. There's a picutre of him down a little ways. He is doing just great. No limp, pain, hesitation, etc. with his knee He can run outside in one more week. He even did good with this part. He is sooooo mellow! Really fits his name. His naked leg is growing back in...slowly.

I wish Madison would let me brush her - I will have to try the family time technique. I am keeping her clipped pretty close the avoid the fighting.

And the picture of Cricket is just how Madison would be if I let her...She LOVES to be dirty.

We are still in the combing routine. Dylan doesn't really matt and we have grown accustomed to what we now refer to as family time where Erik holds them and the treat and I work the comb. When we bring the boys in 1x a month for a full brush out they have told me that our two get what they call pin matts. They are teenee tiny little matts that comb out pretty easily. Dylan's hair has gotten very long again (8 " in some spots) so we will need to do some trimming soon.

I don't think Cricket minds that messines...but she is such a good girl...standing so politely on the towel. Same here...Berry is my q-tip:-) The matting got out of hands and had to get her shaved. Was feelign bad to do this in the cold weather...but she learned to get back in the house when she was done. Now, i feel like i have so much time in my hands...with no brushing every day:-)
