Surgery and Seizures

Our Toby is scheduled for surgery Monday morning for Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture, Medial Meniscus and he is a seizure dog. Frequent seizures. Almost all grand mals. I was wondering if anyone has had a seizure dog that has had to go through a surgery like this?  I am worried sick that the stress and pain of all this will trigger seizures. He falls a lot after a seizure because it takes awhile for him to get his vision back, plus his legs are extremely weak after a seizure. We have to walk him around on a leash for sometimes an hour after the seizure. Not by our choice, but because he is very nervous and paces and paces after a seizure. I am worried if he has seizures it could affect the surgery and healing process if he falls or tries to walk too much. He will not lay down after a seizure.  Any suggestions would be helpful.
