Really wishing we weren't part of this group, but here we are. This is all very new to us. Giada has had two seizures this summer, so we are just beginning this journey.

 

We are documenting when she has them and are to have blood work done to rule out liver problems. I'll need lots of support from you Moms/Dads that have already been through this!!

Welcome, there are many of us that have become knowledgable about seizures, mostly through necessity. We are all here to support one another. If you have any questions please post it - no matter how unimportant or trivial you may think it is, sometimes the little things wind up being important.

My dog has genetic inherited Epilepsy. If you have a Pedigree on your dog let me know. There are 3 bloodlines of known Epilepsy issues. I am trying a NATURAL approach, which seems to be working for my dog.He is not on any medication.

Hi Tamara, Welcome.....apologies for my tardy greeting! Please don't hold it against Sadie-she has trouble managing my laptop :-) I hope Doodle Kisses is as wonderful a resource for you as it has been for me! I will be there to learn along with you~still feel fairly new to this despite Sadie being 3 years old now! It has been a learn and grow as we go experience! The only thing I know for sure is how much I love Sadie-and that I would walk into traffic if it meant helping her. Outside of my spouse and family/friends she is my life & love. I had to say the first part!
