quick supplement question

Hello

I am VERY happy to report that our Luigi is resting very peacefully today ~ it has been a long few days but things seem much better today!

He is now on phenobarbital 2x day and salmon oil and Taurine. I want to add Milk Thistle and I know that has to be given at a different time then his medication. I also want to use one of these supplements ~ I just can't decide which one and when should I give it with meal, with medication or separate????

Here are the 3 we are looking at I would appreciate any advice or suggestions! Also can I use Rescue Remedy along with the medication and other supplements?

I would not give a dog with seizure disorders any kind of supplement without checking with a vet. Anecdotal information on the internet about is "supposed" to help can be very dangerous. For example, the fatty acids in certain supplements that are beneficial for dogs without seizure disorders can actually lower the seizure threshold in dogs with seizure disorders. Just because something is "natural" does not mean it is harmless. Many herbal supplements also interact with medications.
