I was reading on the web about foods that can make your dog seize.

Cat food should never be given to any dog, as dogs and cats have very different nutritional needs, and the macronutrient balance along with specific nutrients in cat food can make a dog very sick. However, it's possible that other ingredients in the cat food are what caused the seizures, hard to know without seeing the formula. Rosemary is known to trigger seizures in dogs, and many pet food formulas contain rosemary.
Chocolate, onions, grapes and raisins, and several other foods are toxic to all dogs. There is a list of these in the Danger Group.
The information about egg whites does not make sense to me, as whole eggs would have the same affect, as they contain both the whites and the yolk. I also did not see any information about nutmeg on the Guardian Angels website. Here is their list of foods and other substances that can trigger seizures: http://www.canine-epilepsy-guardian-angels.com/SeizureTriggers.htm

I noticed that my husband would our ALD cat food as a treat and soft boiled egg whites....I had him stop this and I have noted that she is now 2 months without having a seizure. I was wondering if anyone else has tried this?
