Okay! We've been to our first doodle romp on Saturday in Malibu, it was great! Sooo much fun. Sooo many doodles. And my two were well behaved dispite my fears. On to Next Saturday, Sept 13 and the Huntington Beach doodle get together - organized by Kadie I think. It's in the events on Doodle kisses. Who's been? What's it like? What should I expect? Is it actually at the beach? It doesn't really sound like it is. If it is at the beach is it at Dog Beach at Huntington Beach and do I have to be a member?
I was at the Doodle romp in Malibu last weekend as well, it was really nice. I have been to the Huntington Beach romp once. It is at dog park, not close to the beach, we just stood around and let the doodles play. I do here that Katie is trying to make it more like the Malibu doodle romp. Hope this helps.

Kate's Doodle Days is a monthly get together...it's not a huge event like Malibu Romp. But just a fun time to get together with doodle lovers, take photos, and let your dogs play. I've never been to either event, but I've been to romps and love ANY chance to meet with other doodles so I bet it will be fun! Plus you may meet friends from Doodle Kisses =)
We just came home from the Huntington Beach Doodle get together. It was the first one we have attended, so we have no comparison with other romps. The dog park is really large and could accommodate many, many dogs. I heard that there were 17 doodles. I am not sure how anyone counted because there were several that really, really looked alike! I enjoyed seeing other doodles and talking with their owners. I learned some helpful information especially about doodle hair/fur. There were several others with puppies the same age as mine (5 months), but Ned was the only mini doodle there. He did look small even in comparison to the medium puppies his age.
Hi We just returned from the Huntington Park. We were the couple with the 5 month old chocolate named Tigger and the 11 month old named Roo. What a nice park and a good trip. I really enjoyed it. I thought Ned was darling, can't wait to see if he stays really small.
