It's been a long time since our last doodle romp.
When I picked up Zeppelin last weekend I took them to Fiesta Island in Mission Bay. There is a fenced in dog park. Nimbus, Sierra and Zeppelin had a blast. The water there's calm enough for the dogs to swim.
Ro and I were talking about having our next beach romp there.
So my question is how many of you would be available next weekend, either Saturday May 2nd or Sunday May 3rd?
We could also have lunch.

We think we can make either day! Enzo's READY! Wonder which day is likely to be less crowded?

Sounds like fun, we might be up for it?  Last time we were at the Fiesta dog park it was full of foxtails??  We used to meet up every quarter with our boating group across the way at ski beach.  BTW Saturday might be easier, allowing Sunday to re coop and drive home later.  I have a 7am doctor appt Monday!

I will  have to check my calendar once you decide the day, but it sure sounds fun.

I would prefer Saturday as I have to drive home Sunday. Does anyone have Nancie's number? Anyone else around?
So...let's do Sat! I think Nancy has Nancie's number. Name the time and place!

I have Nancie's info and will contact her.  What time?   We can attend Saturday.  We are probably going to meet with someone who needs a dog re-homed so will have to work around that appt.  However, I do NOT do foxtails, so do we want to meet on Fiesta Island or elsewhere?

I didn't notice any foxtails, but we hung out on the beach not the huge open space.

How about 2pm? Anyone up for lunch before or dinner after?
Sounds good! We're up for lunch....know of anyplace near by?
The place I told you about Caffe Bella Italia. If you check in with yelp, you get a free Bruschetta appetizer. Or check out all the other dog friendly establishments on yelp. I'm open for something new.

Can you give me directions to the dog park from the freeway exit.

You exit the 5 South at Seaworld Drive. Continue on Seaworld Drive (right). Right on Mission Bay Drive, left to Fiesta Island Drive. Continue on Fiesta Island Drive, keeping left at the fork until you hit the fenced in dog park. When you walk straight through the dog park you'll hit a dam at the end where someone cut steps into the dam to get down to the beach. That's a good spot where the water is calm.
