Hi Elena! Great advice. Chloe would probably want me to get a person for her rather than a furry sibling! I still think if I found a good local breeder I would like 35 pound doodle. Such amazing beings!

Hi Jenni, I have Giorgi from Rocky & Princess Aurora.  I wish I knew more about her lineage, but I've asked and haven't received a response from Mary at Stargazer.  However, Giorgi is stubborn, too, but full of personality.  She's larger than Chloe.  She's probably 20 pounds at 6 months.  Regarding companions, we had an alpha female cocker spaniel before getting Giorgi.  We were worried our spaniel wouldn't accept her, but after a week of moping around the house, she started playing with her & eating again for that matter.  As Giorgi started getting older I've noticed she's very protective and jealous of anyone's attention to our spaniel.  For instance, I call for Giorgi and she's so stubborn she doesn't want to come.  However, when I call for Gigi who immediately comes, Giorgi's all over me.  I had poodles as a child and they were the same way.  They attach themselves to you as a family member and not as a dog.  So when I'm home Giorgi pays no mind to Gigi, but when they see I'm getting ready for work, they cuddle on the chair like they're moping together as I leave them.  I truly enjoy our newest addition.

Hi all! Chloe and I have moved to the New Jersey shore from Marin County in California. She will be 3 on May 22. Parents are Alladin and Scruffy. Her digestive issues are finally stabilized as long as I strictly control what she eats and she remains at ten pounds. Her fur is finally growing in like a long fluffy spaniel. I feed her steamed chicken shredded and mixed with Honest Kitchen Embark. She gets mozzarella stick treats. She's very smart, understands everything I say and although headstrong can be such a cuddle bunny. I still struggle over whether she should hav a little companion. I hate to leave her alone but I think she is more of a people than a dog kind of girl. Tons of doodles in NJ. Her cream fur is slowly turning orange. Everyone thinks she's a Maltese but she definitely knows she's a doodle!

Also, did you get a lineage with Zoe?  I didn't.  I have since asked, but haven't even heard back from Mary.

Lanell, Zoe is so adorable!  She's a little curlier than Giorgi and her coloring is a little darker.  Rocky's coloring is so unusual!  And Giorgi is the same way with being very vocal.  We are still working on "Quiet."  My husband usually says "No," but I like quite.  Especially when I want her to bark when she hears something.  So when I tell her to be quiet, she then moans before quieting down.  She has such a personality!

I just read through some of the other posts.  Zoe is also a picky eater.  In fact, I took her to the vet several times during her puppyhood because she wasn't eating. He said she was healthy, but a naturally skinny dog.  Zoe is also very vocal.  We have taught her 'no bark' and 'hussssssshhhhhh' so she doesnt, but she comes out with the strangest moans and squeaks and yelps.  She definitely communicates.

Our Zoe was born Feb 1, 2012 and I believe she is from Rocky and Princess Aurora.  All the pups in her litter were names "C" names, Charlotte, Cheri, Craig Chloe, etc.  Her original name was Charlotte and was originally named Charlotte by Stargazer.  I think Mary keep track of litter mates by choosing names with the same first letter.

I think Zoe is a sibling of Giorgi Girl (but will look up the records to be sure).  She is a brindle and weight about 32 pounds now.
