F, Thank you so much for posting this. My DDIL was on Remincade infusions for 10 months and they stopped working for her severe ulcerative colitis. No idea what to do now. I've sent her this article. Maybe this could be done for her. Thank you!!!

Such a basic but amazing solution that can save so many people pain and suffering. This truly is a case of one man's trash being another man's treasure. Not something I thought I would ever say regarding poop. :>)

Oh, F, you cannot believe how excited I was to hear about this. I have an appointment with my doctor next week to discuss this and I have made copies of the article for my doctor, my acupuncturist, and therapist. At this point, I am willing to try anything except more medications. My son is my closest living relative who has a "good gut" and he thinks I am nuts, but I will get him to cooperate. I just need to find out what locales offer this treatment. I think my doctor will be able to provide that information. (I notified her in advance of what I am interested in talking about so she has had the time to do the research.) Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing this with us. When I tell people that I heard about it on DK, they REALLY think I am nuts.

My son said "absolutely, no way" so I headed out on another path. The doctor recommended Inner-Eco probiotics and guaifenesin (both over the counter meds) and I have been using them for a month with seeming success.
