Probiotics

Hello!

I rescued my goldendoodle, Chloe, when she was 13 weeks old from a family that could not care for her. They basically bought a dog just to have a dog. They didn't provide the proper care for her....basic veterinary care: needles, deworming, check up etc.  So when I took her from them, she was very skinny, had major ear infections and was so full of round worms she vomited them up!  I brought her to the vet within the first week of having her and nursed her back to health.  Anyways, because of the infestation of worms she has issues with her tummy and needs to be given a probiotic daily with her food.  My vet had me purchase one from her called "Pro Gut" and it worked well, but I found it a little too expensive and went on a search for something that I could afford.  I stumbled upon FortiFlora and it is amazing. One little package a day and she very seldom has issues with watery stools anymore!  

Anyone else have their doodle on a probiotic? Any recommendations for a different probiotic if for some reason I am unable to access the one I'm using now?

Wow! Good for you taking on Chloe! I can't imagine vomiting worms. What an ordeal for that cute little girl.

Thank you.  It was a tough go in the beginning, but with a lot of TLC she got stronger every day and is now our big healthy baby!
