Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I decided to make a group specifically for sensitive tummies!
Instead of the poopy problem discussions all over dk, you can post them here so they are easy to find!
Things that you can post here!
1. Bathroom problems
2. Throwing up
3. What foods to help liquid poop, diarrhea, and constipation
4. And anything that involves your doodles stomach!

Quick update for those of you who may find this useful.
Chai had digestion issues and loose poop since we got her. We went through wellness core grain free puppy, chicken/sweet potato and honest kitchen embark. She was a fussy eater and did not enjoy meal time at all.
In the first 2 months of having her with us, we must have done at least 4 fecal tests (all negative) and 2 rounds of metro at the insistence of the vet. Nothing worked and they put her on Royal Canin Puppy prescription food.
Her stomach did well on the RC, but we were not happy about feeding her that.. so 3 bags and 8 weeks later, we transitioned her to Fromm Duck and Sweet Potato.
I have to say she is doing AMAZING on it! She loves her food and finishes it in no time. We have had regular and solid stools with no issues at all! I did supplement both meals with Proviable DC for 2 weeks before and a month after the transition. I have just stopped Proviable and we are now on our 3rd bag of Fromm.
Thought this may help some pawrents out there looking for a good brand to transition after a prescription diet.
Picco eats Earthborn Holistic Meadow Feast (grainfree lamb). He loves it. I only give real meats, homemade treats or store bought natural biscuits - Beggar Dog.
Lately he picked up a sensitivity to salmon & salmon skin - combination soft stools/constipation. Ever hear of this from salmon?
I hope she feels better soon Cait! Lets us know what happens:)
FROMM, FROMM, FROMM! best food ever!
Thank you every one for joining and commenting! Bella has a sensitive stomach and soft stools every few months, and we kind of wait a few days and it goes away, but this last time, It was liquid. I posted a discussion, and got some great feedback! I fed her a whole potato, an egg (cooked) and when she was hungry again, I gave her some of her dog food. She started improving after just a few hours. By the next day, it was gone!
Glad to see this group! Little Chai has a super sensitive stomach, and has been put on a temporary prescription diet (Royal Canin Veterinary Puppy) :(
Would love to hear more about your experiences with tummy trouble, and what you did to combat it!
I'm sure we will be here often! Millie tends to be in the starts-solid-ends-liquid poop group. Always looking for more information on how to help her out.
Great idea! so many doodles have sensitive stomachs!
