Oh Im sure Karen will answer you but to answer your question about quality, Absolutely! It is one of the top quality foods and if you can afford it and it works for your pup there is no reason to switch. I believe (but not positive) that its an all life stages formula.
Kudos to you for choosing a breeder who feeds Acana, which is one of the absolute best dry foods on the market. Very good sign that your breeder spares no expense in caring for her dogs. By all means stick with it. There is no "puppy" version, it's an ALS (all life stages) food, and that's perfectly fine. The Grasslands formula is part of Acana's Regionals line; all 4 formulas in the line are nutritionally similar and designed to be rotated if you want to provide some variety in your dog's diet, which is a very good idea. I would stick with the Grasslands formula for the first few months, and then you can try a bag of one of the other Regionals formulas if you like.
No. NuVet is sold through the same multi-level marketing scheme (aka pyramid scheme) as Life's Abundance dog food. They are overpriced and unnecessary. No puppy or dog who is eating a good diet needs any vitamin supplements, and if for some reason you did want to use one, there are better products for a lot less money.
