Ok...this is probably going to sound like a crazy question - and I'm not finding any good answers for it.  We cooked about 6 chicken breasts late yesterday afternoon, in the oven w/water.  TOTALLY forgot about it after turning off the oven after 2 hours and here we are, a little over 12 hours later and NOW I remember it.  I know that humans shouldn't eat them, but, what about our dogs?  Should they just be tossed, or, if reheated to about 450 for a good hour, hour and a half, ok to feed to them?  We just supplement their kibble with chicken breast.

Dang it anyway!!!

Of course I can't say this medically but I bet they would have been fine, since they were sterile and only out overnight at room temperature. As a country we throw out tons of usable medications and food. Many of the expiration dates on things are purely arbitrary.

Actually, in one case, they were out for three days, lol. But I would throw them out anyway, for my own peace of mind.

I understand.

Ohhhh Karen...that's ugly  :-(

My thoughts, I have no idea. Rule if thumb, ' if you won't eat them neither should your dog'
