Dog For Dog??

Hello!!

I am just wondering about this... I always see Dog For Dog food in the pet store and wonder if its good. If you buy one bag, another bag goes to a shelter. I don't think I want to change my doodles food again, But I am just curious if its a good food or not:)

The short answer is No. Their website appears to be down, and I had a hard time finding any info on-line, as very few retailers carry it, (Chewy doesn't carry it either) but I was able to view the ingredient list on Amazon (all of the formulas are "unavailable" on Amazon, BTW) and the quality of the ingredients is not very good. You really don't want brewer's rice in your dog's food at all, let alone as the 3rd ingredient. You also don't want to see "egg product" as opposed to eggs, or beet pulp as the fiber source. I'm not able to check sourcing due to the website being down, but based on ingredients, I would not recommend this food.

Thanks Karen! I was kind of hoping that it would be good, just because of what the whole mission behind it, but that's ok:) I appreciate you looking at that for me:)
