My Charli is very thin - I can feel between her ribs and count every vertebrae. She eats only 1.5 cups of Evo a day. She will eat chicken or cooked veggies if not mixed with kibble. I want her to eat a balanced diet which is why I really want her to eat her Evo.
I got a gift of Stella & Chewey's freeze dried patties. Since I didn't really read the bag, I thought they were treats. We had Bella and Blake here last night and opened the bag. I could have asked all 4 of them to stand on their nose to eat a piece! Then read the package and was impressed -
"Our commitment to quality starts with our ingredients. Every Stella & Chewy’s product is made with raw, naturally raised meat, poultry or fish, sourced from USDA-inspected facilities, without added hormones or antibiotics. Chewy’s Chicken Dinner, for example, contains raw, farm-raised chicken as well as organic cranberries, carrots, apples, spinach, broccoli, beets, squash and pumpkin seed. Just like all of our products, it’s made without grain, fillers, artificial preservatives or colorings. We didn’t even add sugar or salt! And every single ingredient we use is sourced from reputable suppliers."
I thought I would give it a try with Charli's breakfast. She actually ate almost 2 cups of Evo with 1/2 a chicken patty!!! I am just thrilled!
I searched for the best price taking into consideration the shipping charges. I am not surprised that doggiefood.com came out the best. The price is the lowest for the patties and they are charging a flat rate of $4.95 for shipping.
This is what worked for us. If you have a finicky eater you might want to try them.

It's weird, JD doesn't like Ziwi Peak at all (and at $100 for 11 lbs, that's fine with me, lol).
The Stella & Chewy's patties I gave him were freeze-dried raw, I believe. They had a dry, crumbly texture and were not refrigerated or frozen, which would be very convenient for those who travel with their dogs.
Another good topping is live cicadas...helps them get their protein.
I am just kidding...can't keep my dogs away from them down South. Everywhere...
I just bought a bag of Stella and Chewey's freeze dried patties since I saw that you liked it. It was 10 dollars for a small bag, but Sunny loved it!
I also bought a sample bag of Orijen (which she also loved) and put half the Stella and Chewey's patty on top of it. She ate much more than she has ever eaten at 2 in the afternoon! We'll see how much she eats at dinner time tonight.
