Hi all!

My currently doodle is a grazer, I put his daily amount of food in his bowl and he eats when he's hungry and has always been a great weight, he was even like this as a pup. Now that we are bringing puppy two home in a little over a month I was wondering if I should be trying to switch him to set meal times so him and the puppy don't have issues eating the others food, assuming this puppy might be a gobbler! Any thoughts would be great. The "free eating" seems to work great for my current doodle I'm just concerned that there could be problems and could be avoided.

Thanks all have a great weekend!

Do not panic if your dog ends up missing a few meals.  This isn't a problem with a healthy dog.

Thank you! I've been carefully eyeing his bowl and sometimes he leaves a bit untouched, should I be encouraging him to eat all his food or just leave him to himself and if there's some left let it be?

I'd let it be and not encourage him. Truly, he will get what he needs. :)
