When I cook for my doodles, I cook a large amount at one time in my crock pot.  The easiest meat for me has been ground turkey but I'm trying to get away from poultry.

If you cook other meats, how do you chop it all up?  I just cut up 16 pounds of pork with my electric knife and it took forever.  I am looking at meat grinders online but it appears you have to cut the meat into small chunks before feeding the grinder so I don't know if that solves the problem.  I need some type of meat "chopper" that can cut meat into small cubes.  Any ideas?

I use a food processor for the green veggies but haven't tried it for meat.  I'd be back to the problem of having to pre-cut it all first which is what I want to avoid.

It's definitely easier to cut after cooking.

I home cook chicken breasts and I cook them until they're practically falling apart.  Then I just lay them out on a large cutting board and "chow away".  I have bite sized pieces at that point...and that is fine for my guys.  They really don't need it to be ground up.

Yes, I don't really want the meat ground up either.  I think bite size pieces is the way to go.  But maybe I'm reading too much into this.  I would prefer bite size pieces but maybe the dogs are happy to eat it regardless.  ;)

I'm sure they would eat it any way you prepared it! I cook the chicken breasts in a pressure cooker..when its done, it basically falls apart with a fork
