Just wondering since I'm currently feeding Orwell Orijen's large puppy formula and am wondering which adult formula people like best from Orijen.
My store doesn't carry Tundra, but can order it specially for me. They already get my large puppy formula in just for me... most of the dogs that stroll through there are little yapper dogs so there isn't much demand. :P

After much thought and research, I decided to switch Winnie from her Wellness Core Puppy to the Orijen Six Fish. We had been giving her salmon oil for her dry skin, but after getting a bad batch of that I'd rather her just get a really good Omega 3/6 ratio in her food if possible. The plan is to likely alternate between that and the Orijen Adult. You can't really go wrong with any of the formulas.
A while back someone posted a list of the different protein sources in all of the Orijen foods. I can't seem to find that list...I could look them up myself, but if someone knows where that link is, that would be great!
If you find it, let me know, lol. It would be very useful. I know most of them by heart, except for which varieties of fish are in which formula.
Sharing a table that I made.... hopefully this works- I've got a new Mac and I'm not quite sure how to use the features! :-)
This is great, Lori! Thank you so much! Now we just have to remember where it is, lol.
I'm going to type Orijen Ingredient Table here, so if we remember that phrase it will come up in a search.
This is wonderful. Thank you.
I'm rather curious about Orijen Freeze Dried food. I didn't know they made it and have been feeding Stella & Chewy's Freeze Dried the past few weeks. I just ordered some Orijen Freeze Dried online and did get a small bag of the Tundra to try along with a couple other flavors. What is the issue with Tundra? My puppy, Bentley, is 10 Mo. Old. and has gone from Orijen puppy kibble to Orijen adult Kibble and not eating it to Primal Raw beef Frozen, and then Freeze Dried Raw Stella & Chewy's. I'd love to find a less costly Freeze Dried Raw but want him to eat well and love that he poops so little and he has had 2 hot spots and itching so I'm trying to make sure he is eating healthy.
Are the Bully Sticks not good for them or any of the rawhide chews? I can't give him raw or messy bones in the house in the winter.
Hi Terri, we have a LOT of info here on many of the issues you've mentioned. Please read through our discussions for information on marrow bones (they need not be messy if you do it right, lol) and other types of chews like beef tracheas and antlers. Here are some links to start you off:

Rawhide is never a good idea, and can lead to some serious digestive problems.
Bullies are fine for some dogs, others get sick from them or go through them so fast that there's no point, lol.
The only "issue" with Tundra is what has been mentioned above in this discussion, i.e. reserving some animal proteins in the event your dog ever needs to be on a novel protein diet. Read through my responses above for more info on that.
Hot spots and itching are rarely related to food of any kind, contrary to what you read on-line, and particularly in puppies. Some info on that: http://www.doodlekisses.com/group/thefoodgroup/forum/topics/facts-a...
Regarding all the switching of foods trying to find some your dog will "like", I've got a great discussion for you on that topic; it's entertaining, but you just might learn something from it, too! http://www.doodlekisses.com/group/thefoodgroup/forum/topics/an-ode-...
