Rosey's new favorite treat are Pepperidge Farm Whole Grain Goldfish.  I know I shouldn't give her people food but  she will do anything for them including top barking.  Is there any real harm in feeding her these?

Me neither, I am waaaaayy to squimish for that. DH has tried them before. I told him it would be easier just to feed him kibble too!!
And BTW, my dogs get a cheerio here and there and even a goldfish every now and then (just sparingly though....)
Well they're whole grain, so they must be healthy right?
that was my thinkin' especially when I eat a whole bowl:) hee hee!
I got Roxy some of the Fromm Parmesan Cheese treats and she loves those. There's just something about sharing with you, though...like the dropped Cheerio that is sooooo exciting it's worth skidding across the kitchen!
My relatives got a Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy recently. They know the people that breed her, in fact, they have known her for over 20 years and have had prior Ridgebacks (they are awesome dogs). The parents of this dog are champions at Westminister and all too. Anyway, they have this puppy and the breeder said instead of buying treats that are very expensive, go to the store and get plain animal crackers. I did and Samson loves them!!! I never thought of the whole grain goldfish or cheerios but I'm sure they are fine in moderation. Everything in moderation is good.
Plain animal crackers are much lower in sodium than Goldfish. My poodle's breeder told me she gave the dogs plain Cheerios and vanilla wafers for treats.
