Therapy Dog Trainer in NJ

We are having the worst time finding a therapy trainer in NJ - it appears every place we see requires you to take one of their dogs and not get the choice of breed, my son has many allergies and I'd prefer having a doodle,not to mention my wife and I just love the breed, how can you find out if trainers will work with your dog? what is the youngest age they typically will begin training/

My goldendoodle is certified as a therapy dog.  We visit a local hospital in Va Beach.  It does wonders for both the patients and the staff.  He got his certifcation from Therapy Dog International (TDI).  Go to their website www.TDI.org and they have a lot of info about the requirements.  I see they have testing taking place in two locations in NJ:
