Trip to Southern California with our Dood

My husband and I are trying to  plan a trip from Las Vegas to Southern California with our 9 month old doodle.  No specific location identified, as we want to choose a location that is fun packed for the 3 of us.  All suggestions on cities, hotels, restaurants, toy stores, parks, beaches, are appreciated.

Kristie, talk to GBK there in Las Vegas!!!! She stays in Laguna at the coolest place. We visited her there and loved it. There is a great dog park in Laguna also and lots of outdoor cafes. Eileen Ross and Cody live in the area and probably know places to take doodles.

Hi Kristie,

There's a great dog beach in Huntington Beach which is in southern california. I haven't taken my Doodle there yet, but have taken previous dogs there. There are also plenty of dog parks around, including (ones that I know of) Seal Beach off Lampson, Playa Del Rey and Culver City.
